Default Wing Storage

Hey everyone,

Getting close to removing the wings from the jig and started thinking about storing them. I searched the archives and got a few ideas.

My goal is to hang the wings from the ceiling to gain some much needed floor space for the fuselage construction.

I found these to be interesting and rated for 120 lbs each. Safety lock mechanism, which I will duplicate with secondary "just in case" straps.

May run PVC through rear lightening hole with rope inside, then attach to that.

Looking for feedback to this idea, and other ideas/pics.

Thanks!

I simply used three hooks into the ceiling. One with a chain around the inboard spare and two out on outboard rib. Used eye hooks with washers to pick up the tooling holes.

I have that system in my garage hanging two bikes. I would not hang my wings from them.
