Default Air box

I'm thinking about painting the FAB airbox. I'm getting conflicting advice. Those in the don't paint camp says it will be easier to spot cracks and easier to repair.
I'm leaning toward painting it for cosmetic reasons. If I do paint it can I use rattle can high temp or should I just paint it with the same stuff I use on the inside of the cowl ?
Any comments will be appreciated.
Thanks
Steve

Steve, mix some resin pigment into your polyester resin. I got mine from a local boating supply. I used black and white to match my lycoming. Test on some scrap pieces.

Default Nice job

on the air box. I really like it.
Also, like the holes in the battery box.
Thanks
Steve
