Default Coolie Hat Wiring Schematic

How do you wire the Coolie hat for aileron and elevator trim? Coolie hat has 5 posts and when you move the switch it connects one of the four posts to the common post. So I can make the common ground and put the Ray Allen white wires on the other four, but how does power get connected? The servos have 3 other wires, but Ray Allen shows them going to a position meter and doesn't show if there is a power wire.

thanks for your help

All the instructions for the 4 way switch are here in diagram 2 http://www.rayallencompany.com/RACme...ctionsREL2.pdf
The switch must be used in conjunction with Rel-2 relay deck. A speed controller is also a good idea. http://www.rayallencompany.com/products/switches.html

Good luck

Default wiring the coolie hat

Thanks, I see now. I need to add the Rel-2 Relay Deck, one per trim servo. Got it. I've order 2 Rel-2 Decks from Aircraft Spruce. And I see these Relay Decks are needed because the coolie hat is single pole rather than double.

Thanks much.
