Default Making a Trailer for Your RV

I want to alter a Harbor Freight trailer to haul my RV12 around as needed. Has anyone converted a trailer to make an airplane hauler? I would appreciate tips and photos.

Don, I think you will find a modified boat trailer to be much more suited for transporting your -12. You want a wide track and low deck height to handle the high CG of the plane in crosswinds. The boat trailer may already have a tongue long enough for your plane.

I'm assuming you are intending to use the trailer on highways for extended distance. If just hauling a short distance the Harbor Freight option may be ok.
