Default summerville SC, KDYB

This going to be our first big trip so I was wondering if someone could help me with a little more information regarding Summerville SC.

I am planning on visiting family in Summerville this summer and thanksgiving(prob august/nov timeframe) so I was wondering what it is like down there.
We will be staying for a couple of days probably a minimum of 4.

- is it safe to park the RV outside for a couple of days?
- is there covered parking?
- is there a community hangar that rents spots to transients?
- other things that I have to look out for/take into consideration

I was also thinking about CHS but I really like the small airport idea...

Thanks guys, I am familiar with big airport/FBO operations but still a newbie when it comes down to small/uncontrolled fields so any help is seriously appreciated.

Default Thanks!!!

wow thanks for the offer!! I hate to be an inconvenience though if it is really that tight, Nevertheless it is good to hear that there are RVers down there!

I will contact you when the dates are closing in and the planning solidifies, again thanks so much for the hospitality.

Have a safe trip.
