Default GTX-327 Set Up Question

My transponder comes on when battery power is switched on and will not shut down no matter how long you hold the off switch. Been through the book troubleshooting a couple of times, but maybe we're missing something. Once on, it will not go to "standby" either.

Anyone see this before and figure it out?

Thanks,

Lee...

If pin 1 (avionics master) is tied to pin 15 (power) the unit will come on when power is applied. The unit should still go to off or stby when the associated button is pushed.

Thanks for the info, Walt. I think we have the wiring issues sorted, though because we swapped mine for another today and the second one worked properly with my existing wiring. I put mine back in and it went right back to its old bad habits.

I'll have to get it to a shop for someone to look at, I guess.

Regards,

Lee...
