Cool Sunlite and SunRay Plus

All,

AeroLEDs is going to be discontinuing the Sunlite product, with a newest version of the Sunray Plus as its intended replacement. The new Sunray Plus will put out a tight beam that hits 30,000 candela on just 10 Watts of power. This is a great replacement for the MR16 lights that are typically installed in the wingtips. Here is a thread with photos of an excellent Sunray Plus mounting scheme: http://www.vansairforce.com/communit...light=microsun

The Sunlite will be on sale as a clearance show special at Oshkosh 2011. If you want one, this will be your best, and most likely last chance to get one from us. I believe they will be sold for around $149 each.

We are discontinuing the Sunlite to reduce our SKU count, and to put more of a focus on the Sunray Plus, which we believe is the best choice for a small size landing light going forward.

Thanks for all of the support from the RV builders out there, I expect to see a LOT of Pulsar NS90 and Suntail installations at Oshkosh this year based on our sales of them through Van's and Spruce. We really appreciate all of the support that the Van's RV community has shown our young business, and we look forward to continuing to support this community for years to come. Unlike many companies that forget their experimental roots, we won't turn our backs on you even after we get products in the certified market.

We encourage RV builders to buy the Pulsar NS90, Suntail, and 1600 lights direct from Van's as they offer a good discount to their customers, and do a great job as one of our key partners. If you are interested in the new Sunray Plus, let Van's know so that they will add it to their online catalog. I have sent a sample to their engineering dept., but they are pretty busy and haven't had a chance to evaluate it yet. I'm sure that if they know their customers are intersted, they will probably add it to their catalog, and provide their typical good discount.

We will also be debuting a 360 degree strobe/beacon product that can be mounted on the top or bottom of a fuselage, or on top of a tail for additional anti-collision lighting. Stop by our booth to see it, and to hear any other news that we may have by Oshkosh.

Best Regards,

Dean Wilkinson
