Airport weather cams
I'm just sitting here perusing the web planning the summer's adventure. I note that NavCanada has a list of web cams at select airports:
http://www.metcam.navcanada.ca/hb/index.jsp?lang=e
and was wondering if anyone is aware of a similar clearinghouse for weather cams in the US? I know of the Alaska site:
http://akweathercams.faa.gov/index.php
but have not seen one for the conterminous US. There is a listing at the University of Michigan:
http://cirrus.sprl.umich.edu/wxnet/wxcam.html
but most of the links I have tried are fairly useless.
Cheers,
greg

webcam
The definitive webcam list for me is katkam.ca--
It covers all of British Columbia and the West Coast.
For US flying, scroll down and check out WebCamsMania
or Weather Roanoke. All are live cams with fast refresh rates.
Dont leave home without it

There's a lot of RV flying going on at this airport with a weather cam and live Unicom audio. Expect to see and hear Mike Seager in the pattern doing transistion training quite frequently.
