Default Hydroswing Hangar Door

Does anyone know if Hydroswing is still in business. Tried both numbers on the website, both are disconnected.

Thanks
Gary

Default I seem to recall reading some where ...

I seem to recall reading somewhere that they were going under. This is just a passing glance kind of memory - not to be relied on.

Schweiss is still in business at Fairfax, Minnesota

I bought their single piece hydraulic door a year ago and could not be more pleased.

Default Schweiss Reply

I bought a 50'x 16' 4 years ago. I have been totally pleased with the design and performance of their door. I had a issue with hinges (due to improper BUILDING DESIGN) Schweiss helped with a work around and sent new hinges at N.C.

Default Wilson Door

I purchased the 42x16 HydroMAX from Wilson Door (http://wilsondoors.com/) back in 2008. They have both an aluminum and a steel version. For hurricane rating, I have the steel unit. I'm very happy with the door.

We installed a hydraulic door from Higher Power in the fall and it works great and opens fast. The one advantage is that it lifts up before swinging out to clear any snow drift.

Default Hydroswing (Icon Door Systems) update

Adam Laleman was laid off along with everyone else from Hydroswing back in February. A group of ex-employees got together and started Icon Door Systems. From what I gather they have contacted the vendors Hydroswing was using and reestablished a working relationship with each of them. They have placed orders for several parts to have in inventory. If you need any advice, technical support or parts give then a call.

I'm impressed. That is a door that looks really well engineered.

We have a Wilson Bifold door on our Hangar/Home. It has been trouble free for almost 18 years. It uses an electric motor with a winch shaft to raise the door. The door is 12.5 high by 38 ft wide.
