Default New Subaru FF Vendor

RDM Aircraft out of Redmond, Oregon just released this video of a naturally aspirated Subaru EZ30 engine coupled to their gearbox in an RV10: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZEEY_sp1Q3I

The gearboxes and FF packages have been quietly under development and testing for almost 5 years now. A 400hp turbocharged example has been flying in a Lanacair for some time now. This may be spy footage of that aircraft: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_ttLYNfIR-M

Although details are sparse, RDM has been doing everything right- complete TV studies on the gearboxes and plenty of ground and flight testing before release of product. The PSRUs will incorporate a hydraulic governor for conventional CS props.

We hope to see official release at Oshkosh this year but that has not been confirmed yet.

This may be the company that finally gets it right and sticks around in the market to support its customers properly.

Pretty neat. I probably going to be getting the itch again later this year to start the build process again and Bud's death might have me looking for other engine types.

Do they have a web site?

One of the Youtubes was posted by "flyrdm," but flyrdm.com is the airport site not "RDM Aircraft." Googleing the latter points back to this thread.

No Website yet to my knowledge. They did not want to be pestered by people or take their money before the products were thoroughly tested. Who has ever done that before in this industry?
