Default There is going to be one according to 2nd hand info

Eric Whyte is the man behind this event every year. According to information I saw in the past month he told one of the SARL guys the race is on and EAA homebuilders' group is more favorable to it than ever. He said that the site www.airventurecup.com would be updated shortly with all of the details but I just checked and that still has not happened. The race is to be flown out of Dayton, Ohio's Wright Brothers field but the exact finish line still had not been determined. The race from Dayton always presents some special enroute problems and the organizers have to negotiate with the FAA each time and a different set of restrictions and route changes result. When that is done the web site will contain all of the details. The Dayton host FBO has always been Commander Aero, 10570 Springboro Pike Miamisburg,Ohio 45342, 937-885-5580. A hosted dinner is usually held the night before at the USAF Museum at Wright Patterson or the Dayton Engineering Club. There is briefing the Saturday night before (usually at the dinner) and on Sunday morning before the race. The entries are launched in fastest to slowest order, usually around 10 AM. Good luck.
