Default Tulsa Riverside Airport Transponder / IFR Cert Check - Great Place to have it done...

Hey,

Just wanted to pass the word on something. I got some quotes locally for my transponder / pitot static check locally. Prices ranged from $500-$600. Calling around I found an IA/A&P (retired American Airlines Mechanic) in Tulsa that does the full up IFR cert for $200. (I'm sure just the transponder check is half that I would assume).

Saved me $400 bucks. Just a short flight from my airport in OKC. Just FYI for the guys near by or for folks flying through that this might save you some cash. He is based at Tulsa Riverside Airport (RVS).

His contact info is: Bill Denton, 918-809-5509 / 918-266-5011 / bill@dentonaviation.com

Regards,

Kurt

No suprise. The talent on and around that airport has to be the best in America. I live in Florida and I can't tell you how much of my aircraft ended up coming from RVS. Builders in that area have it made.
