Pre-buy inspection wanted. RV Expert in Georgia ??
Hi all
I am considering purchasing a completed RV in Georgia and want to know if anyone can recommend someone who can take a look for me - rather a comprehensive inspection required as I'm not in the US. Obviously willing to pay !!!
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

I would check with Mike Stewart, "Kahuna" on the forums.
If he can not do it, he probably knows someone who can.

In what city/airport is the aircraft located?
Edit: Just saw that you said it was near Allatoona.

Couple of recommendations.
1) Brian Wallace -- he's a moderator here on the forums, is an A&P/I/A. Great guy, RV-3 owner and very, very good.

2) Doug Ripley. He has built countless RVs, is very knowledgeable and he's a heck of a nice guy. I have no idea what he would charge.

Kent Gorton could work well for you. As mentioned he is based out of Mallards landing just south of Atlanta. He has rebuilt many RV's and has two in his hanger he is working on as we speak. I know he has also arranged shipping overseas on aircraft so he could help you on that end also.
