Default Installing Glass what to do with tach cable.

I'm removing all my steam gauges and going with Dynon's Skyview. I'm going to take tach readings from the mags. What am I supposed to do with the tachometer connection on the engine? Is there a cover I can get or should I use some sort of transducer for rpms?

Default Remove it...

Remove the cable. Spruce and Avery have a small screw on cover for about $10.

If it were my airplane, I would rig it up to drive some sort of ridiculous, non-sense indicator. Maybe a "Low BBQ Warning Indicator" or something similar......

You should know that Mike is actually joking....he considers "low BBQ" to be a very serious issue

Possibly an "time to go" to BBQ indicator!
