Default Rolo-Flair

I received my shiny new Rolo-Flair tool. I am working on 1/4" vent lines. I notice that when the gate is opened to insert the tube to be flared, the bump stop hits the flaring cone before it gets to the hole. In other words the bump stop won't work for small diameter tubes. Am I missing something? I realize I can just eyeball the thing but was wondering if others have encountered this.

No problem...... mine works just fine. Just rotate the flaring cone and the bump stop will fit in the depressions.

Be sure the flaring cone is backed all the way out.
