Default any way to poll the performance specs?

Seems to me new ( and old) builders could find it helpful to know the numbers people are getting for different prop/engine combinations, before they make the big purchases. ( climb vs cruise props vs CS for example)
Just reading the forums, one might expect 300 kts and 3000 fpm climb at 3000 rpm! (using the secret wax of course!)
Is there any way this could be polled, or perhaps folks could just chime in with a standard format response? ..(sorry if the columns are goofy.)
for example:

8000? standard day corrected. Gross wt.
Model --- ---- --- Brand -------- L?xPitch--- HP --- WOT --- KTAS --- best RoC
RV-9a --- Sensenich-FP metal--- 70x79 --- 150hp --- 2500 ---172 --- 1200 fpm

There are so many variables, it becomes hard to get meaningful data.

Weight at the time of the trial. Density altitude. Type of fairings installed. Overall attention to detail. Etc.

Besides, the guys with slow airplanes aren't gonna 'fess up anyway.

vans #s seem to very good. dont know many rvs running climb props though. good fast cruise #s run 165 kts tas give or take on most 180 hp models. a poll for this would be very hard to do but never say never. give it a try.
