Default Polishing new imron paint

When is the best time to begin polishing new Imron paint?

I've seen nothing in the archives. I have a few dry spots and wasn't sure whether to wait the 7-14 days to hardened or get it while it's softer.
I'm talking paint.

If I remember correctly, my painter suggested that I wait 60 day before putting on the paint. He said that the paint is still out gassing and curing and it's best to wait. If it gets bugs or dirt just use water and a microfiber cloth to clean.
YMMV

You can't lose by allowing more time to harden.
