Default Live or Load ?

I am wiring my ALT switch to the 5AMP BKR and have a question for you electronics type. (I am electronically challanged) The breaker terminals are marked LIVE and LOAD. Which do I connect the ALT switch wire to? A laymans expanation would help my education too!

Thanks

Load is _to the device_ - in this case the alternator
Live is the power that is 'always' live - to your bus/fuse bar.
