Default Neat calculator

While looking for something else on the web I stumbled accross this calculator to determine how fast a propeller will be for its particular pitch. I'd be curious to see if the numbers are right by those that click this link and check it out. Does you RV fly at the speed that this calculator states for a given RPM and pitch? http://www.missionwings.com/airspeed.asp

Regards,

The theory looks good, but it won't provide an accurate answer with real props, as every prop manufacturer determines pitch in a slightly different way.

If you want to determine what pitch prop to order for a given aircraft, engine and mission, you should discuss it with the prop manufacturer. If they have been around for awhile, they should be able to give good guidance. Comments from other users of the same prop/aircraft/engine are also very useful.
