Oil in engine while hanging?
So I just recently hung my engine. Prior to that it was torn down a few months for inspections after long term storage and all was well. I have instaledl the dyhyrator plugs recently too. Today I pulled the dipstick and found no oil was in the engine. Shouldn't I put oil in there now for corrosion prevention? if so what kind and how much?

Doesn't matter. Even if you do, it will only be in the sump.
That's not where you are concerned about corrosion.

I'd go ahead and put 6 or 7 qts of your preferred break in oil in it (I like shell 100 mineral or Philipps 20W-50).

+1 what Mel says, it's going from the filler neck to the sump.
