Van offers an extension cable for the tachometer transducer for just this type of interference.

Default Speedometer shops too

The Van's extension was too short for the way I wanted to mount the transducer. I took it to a local (Arlington, TX) speedometer shop and they built a drive cable to my specified lengths for about $35.
