Default Damaged Fuel Level Sender

This happened while getting my wing inventory organized and building the wing jig. Dropped a piece of plywood on the Stewart Warner 385B-F packaging. Is this fixable or should I just order a new one from Van's on my next order (only about $30). I won't need it for a few more months, but wanted to plan ahead.

Vans sells the float and wire kit without the sender. It's like $5 so I'd just wait until you have more stuff to order.
