Default Proseal in corners of filter (snorkel) mount

So tomorrow I'm going to, per instructions, put some proseal in the corners of the snorkel air filter brackets. I figure...hey, might as well use the filter itself to shape the proseal. So....what *doesn't* stick to proseal? (The filter is still in the original sealed plastic wrap).

My search skills are degenerating, I couldn't find anything using keywords like "not stick proseal" etc....

TIA!

Steve

Default wax

Put lots of it on whatever you don't want the proseal to stick to.

I think I just kept the filter in its original plastic and used that as a mold for the proseal. If I remember right the plastic wrapper comes from the factory with an oily film on it and I had no trouble getting it to release from the cured proseal. Good Luck!
