Baffle question

On the CB-706A/CB-906A baffle for an O-320 engine there is a MS21042-4 locknut used on the AN4 bolt underneath where the engine mount bolt hole is. Has anybody used a K1000-4 nutplate here instead? I was thinking of not having to place a wrench in this tight spot.

Nutplate is the only way to go. Did it on my RV7 and I used Vans Baffle kit on my Super Cub. Don

A nutplate's a good idea. I ended up getting the washer and nut on without too much trouble, but a nutplate would be even better.
