Valentine ?s Day trip to Kernville, CA.

Not that I need an excuse to fly but I wanted to take my wife on a lunch date for Valentine’s Day (actually Feb 13th). So I posted on the SoCal RV group to see if anyone else would like to go. We had a good show (about 8 planes). The majority came as a couple. On the way back we took some air to air pictures. I think this one is going on my wall. Starting at the closest plane: The Halls, The Alvarez and Hog. Picture was taken from an RV-4 by Susie (Wingnut’s wife). BTW, my wife had such a good time that after we landed at home, I put the stick in the back and she flew the plane for the first time for about 30 minutes.
