That totally turns me off! I would be very reluctant to invest where anyone would approve of that type of tactic. Perhaps a new lawyer would be in order?

NOTICE:

Per advice from our Attorney, The Board of Directors has implemented a landing fee for all aircraft that land at Mogollon Airpark and are not owned or flown by lot owners, and that do not meet the definition of "Guest Aircraft" as previously stated and published on the website and in the Association Policies.

This landing fee will be $1000.00 for each occurrence.

These "trespass" aircraft will also be required to fill out a "Hold Harmless Agreement" prior to departing. Failure to pay the landing fee and fill out the hold harmless agreement will result in a complaint of Criminal Trespass being filed with the Navajo County Sheriff. The Sheriff has agreed to arrest those persons so trespassing.
It seems to me the residents of Moggollon Airpark are not the type of aviation people I would want to hang around with. Good luck selling this place.

Oh my God! A "public" airport. Where just anyone can land and takeoff a general aviation airplane? That needs to be stopped. I don't blame them for calling the sheriff and imposing ridiculous fines.

It amazes me how someone on the other side of the country and chances are never been to AZ82 can judge an entire community based on a few posts and probably very few facts.

Mogollon Airpark is full of friendly aviation oriented residents / aircraft builders and one of the premier Airparks in the western US. It's home of EAA chapter 1044 that host's a pancake breakfast every July, invites anyone and everyone to fly in and donates the majority of the proceeds to the local community. Its members have also flown hundreds of hours for young eagles. Unfortunately it has gotten some bad press due to our board of directors for trying to keep freeloaders from using our private airpark as "Public Airport"

Sorry for the rant but these kind of posts just tick me off.

That was a pretty lousy thing to say about the community. Why did you choose to paint the entire airpark with that statement?

I think this thread has become useless as a "classified" for either buyers or the seller, so I am going to lock it down.
