Mike posted my latest downloadable files at
www.sportairrace.org. I had been
editing them to correct internal conflicts due to class changes and additions (I
wonder if Dick Martin and Dave Anders should be given credit for RV Gold
performance - no they flew under a still existing class - never mind) that have
occurred over the past four years. Anyway the files grew for no visible reason
to levels approaching 2 million bytes per file. I stripped out the overhead
back to the basic Excel files about one tenth that size. All of the cell
borders were removed but you can add them back in locally if you prefer (I did).
I sent them from Jeanine's MAC where I formatted them to fit on a 8.5" wide
printed page and the minimum number of pages. It still takes around 25 pages. I
tested them when received on my old PC I found the date column width was too
narrow and the dates were replaced with "######". If this happens to you, you
can drag the column width wider until the dates appear.
Click on "Records and Stats" on the Home page then League Statistics to reach
these options:
All Speeds by Race
All Speeds Ranked Fastest to Slowest
All Speeds by Class
All Speeds by Aircraft
All Speeds by Pilot
Temp record review
The "Temp record review" file is similar to the the "All Speeds by Class" but it
is color coded with yellow highlighting the record flights. Green highlighting
the valid class but non- record flights. The red color code was used to
highlight non-valid classes but those have now all been resolved. I think this
is a particularly interesting file. If you want to see all of your personal
race records the "All Speeds by Pilot" brings them all together in speed order
and in alphabetical order with respect to other pilots.
