Default Don & Joan's adventure's South

RV6A flight to Costa Rica, Bus trip & more.

On this trip Joan and I stopped at La Paz, Baja for 1 week to study Spanish so that we could practice before the rest of the trip. Then we met up with our friends in Puerta Vallarta for 5 days travel through Mexico. Then on to San Jose for our 11 day bus tour of the parks around Costa Rica. On the 25th we left C.R. and started the Flight home.

Read the more here and Pictures of Don & Joan's ongoing adventure's South.

Don,

Having never flown out of the country in my own plane before, I'm very interested to know what was involved admin wise in travelling through those countries. Thanks!

Default Avgas prices?

Don,
Could you comment on the availabililty and cost of avgas on your last trip? I have found all the other information to plan my trip on AOPA but can't find anything on fuel costs and procedures.
Thanks!
