Default Damaging fuselage while crawling around inside...

I flipped the fuselage a couple of weeks ago and am now starting to work on things inside the fuselage. I find that I need to climb in and kneel in different areas to reach things.

I'm worried whether different areas of the fuselage will support my weight. For example, could I put a board across the baggage ribs and kneel in the baggage area to reach into the tail cone? How about across the seat ribs? I guess I obviously have to at least lay across the baggage area to buck the top skin rivets.

What about the forward fuselage, can I kneel in there to buck rivets and work? Should I put a board across the angle stiffeners?

I'm sure this question has been asked before, but I couldn't find the answer even after searching around for awhile.

Thanks,
Michael-

Default

I purchased a bean bag chair, cut it open and removed about 1/2 of the beans and placed them in a king size pillow case. The bags (now two) will now lay out and form over the lower skin. Cardboard on top at high pressure points will help.
