Default Repainting the interior..

Hey guys-

I've been tinkering on the RV a bit lately and am thinking about maybe trying to pick up some new seats and repainting the interior (I'm also thinking about selling it and trying to buy a Yak 52, so I need to spiffy it up a bit.)

Anyway, just thought I'd see if you guys had any tips for repainting the interior of an already built aircraft?

Thanks

Jeff

Default Just did it

I am in the process as well. I really thought it was going to be tough but wasn't bad. The toughest part was removing glue from the where the former interior was glued in place.

1) remove all panels, covers, tip up mechanics etc....

2) Mask everything you don't want painted.

3) Clean everything thoroughly

4) Scotch brite everything to be painted.

5) Clean again

6) Paint.

7) Put everything back together

I found as perfect a paint match as possible for the Classic Aero tan!!!!
