Arrow Tax on Engine Purchase

I am curious on how many RV builders have had to pay state sales tax when buying an engine (or propeller) that was imported. Depending on the tax rate it could amount to a sizeable amount added to the overall cost. So far what I have been able to determine is that it seems pretty hit or miss.

Talking Not in Mass, believe or not

Someone was smart enough to pass a law in Massachusetts that you don't have to pay sales tax or excise tax on any airplanes or airplane parts, whether for new airplanes or existing airplanes. Thanks goodness!
