Default Kroil

I have used this stuff for years--------------I buy it in the gallon size, and put it into squirt cans, much cheaper than spray cans.

They also make a blend with silicone, doesn't seem to work as well.

Default Kroil

I was removing a rusty set of leaf springs from a old trailer, unable to break loose the large nuts I applyed a few shots of Kroil to the area.
I went and had lunch and came back about 1 hour later. To my surprise all the nuts were laying on the ground.

Well not maybe not that easy but it did work.

Thumbs up Kroil

I've used the AeroKroil for thirty years. There's nothing like it.
Get some. You'll throw away your full can of WD-40.

Default Splitting the case

[quote=mahlon_r]If you have body fit thru studs then you don't have dowels and you don't need the special case splitting tool. Make sure you get all the nuts off including the one Mr. Carr mentioned that is behind and under the cam gear. Pull the nose seal out of it's recess. You should then be able to get it apart with very gentle prying on the non parting surfaces of the case along the bottom and rear accessory portions.
Good Luck,
Mahlon

Hello,
I have an O 320 A2B wide deck with anchored thru studs front and rear and body fit in the center.
The overhaul manual shows the tool being used on a 6 cylinder case, but it appears they are bolting the plates to the body fit studs on each side. How can this work?
Do I have to use the Lycoming tool or is there another way to split this case?
Thanks, Bob Avon

Maybe if I spray myself with this stuff, I can break loose from the computer!

Default PB Blaster

I haven't tried Aero Kroil, But I have used regular Kroil @ $7.95 a small aerosol can. I found PB Blaster @ 1/4 the price works better and is available at Walmart and most Auto supplies. Instant gratification.
