Good evening,
I have drilled my Pitot mast and was wondering, has anyone tried to dimple the rear two holes? Due to the thickness I think it needs to be countersunk, but I am going to have a heck of a time getting a countersink bit that close to the mast. It looks like it would be much easer just to dimple. What does the brain trust think?

don't use a countersink cage, go slow and use the bit itself

you can't dimple it, too thick

Just dimpled mine over the weekend...worked fine.
