Default Cheapie Canopy Lock

Took a long flight for Christmas and was worried about parking outside with no lock at all. Bought flexible luggage lock at Wally World, drilled a hole in rail and had to grind the collar on the lock a bit so it would bend through the hole. Probably wouldn't stand up to someone with a good pair of wirecutters but definitely better than nothing (especially for 6 bucks)..Tom

You don't want anything "better" than a cheapie lock. If someone is determined to get into the plane, much better that they cut the lock than smash the canopy.
