Default Garmin Store in Chicago

My wife and I had the opportunity to visit Chicago this weekend. I was pleasantly surprised to find a Garmin store on Michigan Ave and Erie St. I wasn't hopeful to find Avionics there, but alas, on the 2nd floor is a display of the Garmin Avionics. They are all powered up and, I assume, in some kind of demo mode. Unfortunately when we dropped by there wasn't anyone on the second floor who could tell me much about them. I'm sure they could talk my ear off about the marine stuff. So if you find yourself in downtown Chicago and want an aviation fix, Garmin is where you can find it.

Rats, I was there for the first time in July and I didn't know about this. It would have been a fun visit. I made a mental bookmark for the next time I'm ever in Chicago. Thanks for the tip!

Default Chicago

I was there last weekend and not a single person in the store knew anything about them. I tried to get the units to function and couldn't. Very disapointing!
