Default Any PIREPS on Kline Aviation (Engine OH)?

Anyone use Kline Avaition in Michigan for their Lycoming engine overhaul? Please comment on the quality, service, and value.

I've seen positive comments on some of the Piper forums.

Default Kline Aviation

I've worked on one of their engines, about 100 hours after "overhaul" Basically the engine needed to be completely re-done. Sadly my customer bought the airplane thinking he was getting a low time fresh overhaul, in reality it was junk.

I would suggest that if the price is to good to believe, it likely is. Move on to a real overhaul

Hi,

I had my engine overhauled by Kline about 5 yrs and 350 hrs ago. I had all new cylinders put on. Ive had no problems so far, and have been very happy with the overhaul.

What kind of problems have you had with the engine you are working on?

Thank you,

Mike
