Default VAF number

I am a contributing member of the forums. How do I join VAF and get a number?

Thank You,

Chris Smith

VAF number is issued to those who donate.

Details in the link.

Sometimes this takes a bit of time-----

I made my donation on 8/4/10, and I'm listed on DR's 2010 Donations list that is linked on the donations page. I don't recall ever getting an acknowledgment of that donation, or a VAF number. Maybe a spam blocker got it....

Could it be because I currently own a Sonex, not an RV??

I'm looking to trade the Sonex towards an RV-4, if anyone needs to go LSA and is interested!!!

Is having a VAF number such a big thing? I know I've donated, presumably DR knows too. I'm happy to leave it at that.

It was to me. When I first joined there were roughly 600 people in front of me. I would have had a number in that range....But since my builder number was 72908, I asked for VAF #908.....almost picked a 908 based N number too.
