Vans Homecoming 2011 Dates: August 27/28
I've got folks trying to schedule me for things late next summer. I'd like to keep my schedule open so I can make it out to Vans Homecoming 2011, but I can't find any info on dates. Has anyone seen any info on Vans Homecoming 2011 dates? Will it be organized by Van's, or by EAA 292?

Kevin,
As president of EAA 292 I can tell you it is our desire to host the 2011 homecoming. First, we will need to get with Vans to make sure that is what they want to happen. We planned to do that in January. Then, if Vans gives us the go ahead, we will establish the date. The 2010 dates were 8/27 & 28 so I anticipate 2011 will be similar.
This will be on the agenda for tonights 292 board meeting.

EAA 292 has met with Vans. The 2011 Homecoming will be at Independence State Airport (7S5) August 26, 27 and 28. Mark your calendars!
