Default Machine Shop Tips

I ran across a great series of YouTube videos showing some of the basic techniques used in a metal shop. Some of these might be useful to RV builders, such as this video on tapping holes.

This is the sort of thing I love - watching and listening to a fella who's been working with his hands for fifty years showing me the secrets of doing something just the right way.

cheers,
mcb

Default Thanks & here are some more

Matt,
I'll have to view those videos. Here a link to a machine shop series that someone on this forum posted last year that's very interesting. If I only had the space and money for a Bridgeport.

Now that I viewed the first excellent video, I've got to say that I love his closing remark "some people would prefer to have a fancy car over a nice Bridgeport ...". Mmmm maybe I should consider selling one of my cars, then I'd have the space and the money for a Bridgeport.
