Kuntzleman tail light mounting?
Hi, all... does anyone have a picture of their Kuntzleman position/strobe light mounted to the rudder fairing (standard location)? Looking at mine, the mounting holes seem to be too close to the edges of the tail fairing to work without modifying the fairing. Anyone else run across this issue?
Thanks..
-Rob

I filled the aft end of the fairing with flox and epoxy and drilled and tapped that. So far it is working great.

I drilled two holes sideways in order to hold the nut in place, then I epoxied over the hole and nut to secure it...

Great... thanks much, guys. I thought about the epoxy/flox thing, but wasn't sure it'd hold. I may use a coarse thread, just to be sure.

Best thread
You may go here to possibly the best thread on tail light attachment techniques (plenty of pix too). It's for an RV7 but the RV10 looks similar. Plenty of info in the archives on this topic.
