Default RV-8A O-360 prop length

I'm replacing a Hartzell C/S on my RV-8A O-360 with another Hartzell. Current prop needs resealed and has the hub that has the recurring AD every 100 hrs. The new prop is uncut at 76". Does anyone have experience with a 76" prop? Van's shows either 72" or 74", but doesn't list a 76" length. Hartzell says it's OK on the RV-8A. My current prop is a 72" and has 12 3/4" ground clearance so a 2" decrease in the clearance shouldn't cause a problem. Both the prop shop and Hartzell recommend not less than 6" clearance on a nosewheel aircraft.

Thanks for any help,
Mark Davis
