Thumbs up It's easier upside down!!

On the 9A we built three years ago, the wheel pants took 3-4 weeks. On the 6A, I expect to be done in less than half that time.

Here's why!

One of the advantages of matched hole construction no -7A or -9A builder can fully appreciate is that you don't have to invert the airframe. Anyone who has ever built a -6A knows that among other things, going inverted is required in order to locate and align the gear legs prior to drill out. It never occurred to me that the inverted position could be useful when fitting the wheel pants.
