Default Another diesel company

Not really sized correctly for the RV family, but nevertheless there is another company in the mix now.

Built an off-plan RV9A with too much fuel and too much HP. Should drop dead any minute now.

Interesting and it looks beautiful but wondering what aircraft it will be fitted to? Too heavy to replace 540/550 installations, wrong profile to replace 450-600hp radials (could be done but a small market there- maybe some Ag stuff) and not enough hp and too heavy to replace PT6s. Wonder about cost if this is a clean sheet German design?

Seems people should be aiming for the 300-425hp big turbo six market if they want to sell any quantity.

Kudos to them for getting this far and actually flight testing the beast!

Default New Diesel

I agree. It is a thing of beauty, but where does it fit in the marketplace? Here's a video about it. Shows the YAK it's mounted in.
