Default Life Insurance??

Anyone using Avemvo or PIC Life for there life insurance? (I think they are the same company) If so what do you think about them? Most all exclude private pilots except these people so I am just leary of them. They quoted me a rate that is lower than what I have now and get this, the quoted rate is underwritten by the same company that has underwritten my current policy.

Are they for real?

Thanks,

Brantel

Don't know about these companies, but it's always a good idea to check their insurance ratings. You might also try Midland Life. When I signed up with them a couple years ago they had the highest possible ratings and cover private pilots. They did so at rates that were far lower than AOPA's plan. You might also check to see who EAA is partnered with for life insurance. They may have a better deal. Good luck.
