Default Zaon MRX vs MRX-A

I notice that the new advertisements are for the MRX-A. I looked on the Zaon website, but found no mention of a -A.

Anyone know what the difference might be?

I beilieve that when the MRX first came out, it didn't have a jack for the warning tones. The -A corrects this.

This sounds about right. I purchased mine from Spruce. I found that I had to spend most of my time watching the unit for targets. I called the mfg and they said that they will be shipping them with access to warning tones. I asked if I could exchange mine for the improved one? He said they would upgrade my unit for $100.00.........

It went back to Spruce the next day.

As with any electronics, don't purchase them till you really, really, really need them. They just keep getting better.
