Default best vinyl "paint"schemes

Let's see your favorite designs that only use vinyl for trim over one or two base colors.

I think vinyl has met its match. There is new film out there that is being used on race cars now, they call it "wrapping". ACI paint film is actual paint and clearcoat on a film. Same properties as paint.

We are going to paint our airplane in one color and then accent and color stripe in this film.

I could be biased, but i'm partial to this one. Apart from the fibreglass being painted yellow, all graphics are vinyl decals.

Does anyone know what the weight difference between sprayed paint and the wrap paint?

How about cost?

Its an interesting process.

People who do wraps tell me paint is heavier. If they get the look better too then paint is obsolete.

That wrapped paint looks very nice.

I've always thought it would be fun to do a "Dakar Rally" style paint scheme for a hotrod like a Rocket. Wrapped graphics would be just the ticket.
