Default Air compressor

Planning to order a RV8 Quick Build kit soon, and I am in need of purchasing an air compressor. Wondering if someone can recommend a specific size (HP, capacity, PSI and scfm) air compressor that will work well for me?.... also, planning to do my own painting with a HVLP gun.

Thanks,

Mike

For starters, don't make the same mistake I did buying an oilless, get an oil unit, more money, worth it.

I'm still liking the turbine setup for painting. No oil, no pollution, consistent pressure. Also, the turbine provides unlimited air for blowing parts clean. This is the first metal plane I've done with the turbine set and I'm pretty happy with the lack of junk showing up on my surfaces. Zero fisheye problems so far. Only thing I still need a large compressor for now are die grinders. They just eat CFM's.

There was also a recent thread on Ingersol Rand compressors with some good info in it. Do a search on Ingersol Rand and you should find it.
