Default New engine mount install question

For those of you who have replaced the motor mounts, do you have any suggestions as to sequence, top or bottom first. I am going to replace the mounts on my currently flying -7 and would appreciate any "helpful hints". Is it a one man job or should I provide adult beverages to volunteers?

Thanks,
David

I did this a few years ago when I replaced the stock Van's mounts with new Lord mounts. Just me and an engine hoist. If I recall correctly I loosened them all up did both bottoms followed by the tops. Kinda like installing the motor, the last one can be a bit of a pain to get lined up after you tighten the other 3 down.

Default Thanks Walt

That is exactly what is going to happen to the -7. I just need to plan what is going to be disconnected, etc. to allow enough engine movement to r&r the mounts. I am positive there will be no muttering and other slang terms in the air while the work is taking place!
