Default Crankshaft Flange Bushings.

I've just finished the OH on my IO-360 and I went with the solid flange crank. When I installed the metal Sensenich the bushings seem short. With the spinner backplate they only extend into the prop about .063. I assume I'll need to get longer flange bushings?

Thanks,

Grant

Thumbs up Try your local...

...engine rebuild shop to get used bushings at half price.

When the shops scrap a crank, they usually take the bushings out and thus have a stack of used ones around...

If any of your bushings are oversize, they will have an etched number on them and must be replaced with a similar oversize one. They are surprisingly easy to push out and press in with a large C-clamp and some appropriate spacers.
