Glad it all worked out well. Happy flying, when you get back and get those little items resolved. You're gonna love it!!!

Default Here we go

8 days away from inspection and all I have to get done is the logbook entries, and paint the wingtips in the evenings this week, add heat protection to the cowl...put the cowl on and take the required photos (cus I forgot).

I bet next weekend will be busy but I think I'm well on time to finish it up, might even get time to start the engine...

Good info on an old thread.

Inspection is slated for two weeks from tomorrow. I have a LOT of stuff to do yet to get ready, but I should make it OK. Thanks to all for the good lists of stuff to have ready.

After 13 years of building, I find assembling a "picture book" to be the most frustrating. You see, when I first started building, digital pictures didn't exist. So, I have a few dusty envelopes of 35mm prints to sort through.

Then the digital revolution began. I have several floppy disks (remember those?) with construction pictures on them (and no computer able to accept the floppies anymore!) ... then I have a few mini-CDs that have pictures on them ... and several full-sized CDs ...

Fortunately, the DAR has already visited my hangar and didn't seem too concerned that I show him a bunch of pictures. However, it's a conundrum that I hadn't anticipated -- changing technology in documentation.

Something to think about for those of you just starting your build process...
